- IP address and approximate geographic location
- Pages visited, time spent on pages, and referring URLs
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 8)
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the personal information we collect to:
- Process and evaluate your Advisor Application
- Schedule and conduct discovery calls and onboarding sessions
- Send you information about NuBanc Financial programs, updates, and opportunities you have expressed interest in
- Send marketing emails and SMS messages where you have provided express consent (see Section 7)
- Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
- Improve our Website, services, and recruiting processes
- Comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations
- Detect and prevent fraud or unauthorized activity
We will not use your personal information for purposes that a reasonable person would consider inappropriate, and we will not sell your personal information to third parties.

- Industrial Alliance Insurance and Financial Services Inc. (iA Financial Group) — our insurance carrier partner, as required during the licensing and onboarding process
- Service providers and technology partners — including GoHighLevel (CRM and website platform), Twilio (SMS communications), and calendar scheduling services — who process data on our behalf under contractual obligations of confidentiality
- Regulatory and government authorities — where required by law, court order, or regulatory body
We require all third parties to respect the security of your personal information and to treat it in accordance with the law. We do not permit our third-party service providers to use your personal information for their own purposes.

- Advisor Application data (including uploaded documents) is retained for the duration of the application process and for up to 24 months following a decision, unless a longer period is required by law
- Marketing contact information is retained until you withdraw consent or request removal
- Website analytics data is typically retained for 26 months
When personal information is no longer required, we securely destroy, delete, or anonymize it.
6. Your Rights
Under PIPEDA and applicable Canadian privacy law, you have the right to:

NuBanc Financial complies with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). We will only send commercial electronic messages (emails or SMS) where we have obtained your express or implied consent.
- When you submit an application or inquiry form, you may opt in to receive our 14-Day Success Email Series and SMS updates
- Every commercial email includes a clear and functional unsubscribe link
- Every SMS message includes opt-out instructions (reply STOP to unsubscribe)
- We honour unsubscribe requests within 10 business days
- Withdrawal of consent to marketing does not affect the processing of your Advisor Application
